Join the Speak It Therapy team! We are looking for Texas licensed SLPs. This is a full or part time, onsite position providing services in schools, clinics, and virtually. Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities • The Speech Language Pathologist provides speech therapy services to patients and related activities in accordance with best practice/evidence-based practice guidelines • Completes evaluations and reassessments in accordance with guidelines in a timely manner • Develops an individualized plan of care based upon evaluation/reassessment findings according to company and best practice guidelines • The Speech Language Pathologist performs patient care and related activities within the scope of their training and responsibilities, demonstrating basic clinical competencies • Communicates effectively with patient/family/therapists/physicians/administrative staff and other stakeholders to promote quality services • The Speech Language Pathologist provides instruction/education to families/caregivers • Assesses patient and family needs regarding their level of understanding, ability to assimilate information and the most desirable method of speech therapy • Provides accurate and thorough information consistently to families concerning their participation in the patient's continuity of care • The Speech Language Pathologist documents patient information in Electronic Medical Record according to office policies • Performs other essential functions as needed • Attends health, safety and training in-services and other obligatory activities • Maintains a current awareness and participates in office quality activities Speech Language Pathologist Requirements • The Speech Language Pathologist will be able to write thorough and defensible evaluations and SOAP/daily notes in a timely manner • Engage in evidence based practice Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology • Current Texas state license to practice Speech Therapy • Two years pediatric clinical experience preferred, although a strong new grad will be considered. • Must be articulate, courteous, and supportive in dealing with clinical and administrative colleagues, patients and parents with ability to honor confidentiality • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills • Utilize basic office equipment such as fax, copier and PC • Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Preferred Benefits • Speak It Therapy offers a wide variety of benefits for full time employees.
