Wild Dog Grooming isn’t your typical high-volume, burn-you-out kind of salon. We take a balanced, holistic approach—to grooming and to each other. That means more time with each dog, a supportive work environment where creativity, compassion, and communication matter.

We’re looking for skilled, soulful groomers who love what they do and want to keep growing. You don’t have to be perfect—just real, reliable, and passionate about dogs and their people.

We provide all tools, equipment, and products—no kit fees, and never any charges for redos. Every team member is trained in our signature protocol, and you’ll join as a W-2 employee (not a 1099), with job security, structure, and benefits. We also pay you to attend workshops and technical training, because growth should be part of the job—not just a dream.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide start-to-finish grooming services (bathing, brushing, clipping, styling) with attention to breed standards and client preferences
• Use salon software to manage appointments and notes
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming space
• Communicate clearly and kindly with pet parents
• Stay current on grooming trends through monthly training sessions
• Assist with walk-in services and share product knowledge with clients

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience (school or shop trained welcome)
• Comfortable grooming 3–5 dogs per day depending on size and complexity
• Detail-oriented with excellent tool care and time management
• Kind as well as firm yet respectful animal-handling skills
• Ability to lift and groom dogs of various sizes
• Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented, and a love of learning
• Reliable and punctual
• Grooming certification is a plus, but not required
