Monitor and maintain plants during growth
Primary Function:
The Plant Health Technician I is an entry-level position within the Qualla Enterprises, LLC organizational structure and is established to aid as part of the Cultivation team. This position will assist with the grow process with the production team. These specific functions are more fully explained below in the Job Duties and Responsibilities section. The Plant Health Technician I will work with the Plant Health Lead and Plant Health Manager to ensure the highest quality of any cannabis products.

Pay Grade/FLSA Status: H8/Non-exempt
Qualifications:
· Experience in the cannabis or agricultural industry preferred
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate activity records and operation logs as required by Cultivation and Compliance protocols.
· Document all additives, pesticides, crop production aids, fertilizers and soil amendments.
· Cataloging and analyzing each individual strain from clone to flower to harvest.
· Operate, maintain and troubleshoot horticulture equipment, machinery, and facilities.
· Ensure an overall positive, safe, and clean production environment.
· Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to, state, federal, and Tribal compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best-practices and technologies for the cultivation of cannabis.
· Other duties as assigned by management.

· Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually without close supervision
· Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, including flexible and/or extended hours as needed
· Knowledge of growing technologies, such as lights, irrigation, media, nutrients, and more
· Knowledge of different strains and their unique growing demand
· Ability to keep to a tight schedule
· Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members
· Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
· Regular attendance and punctuality
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Word and Excel
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands:
· Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and working conditions as dictated by an agricultural environment
· Ability to work 10 to 20 feet off the ground using ladders
· Manual dexterity to reach and handle small items, and work with fingers generally
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
· Must be able to wear a respirator for up to 1.5 hours at a time
