Primary Function:

The General Laborer position is an entry-level position within the Qualla Enterprises, LLC organization and is established to aid with general labor duties at properties owned by the Qualla Enterprises organization. This position will take on a variety of duties including but not limited to: packaging, inventory management, agricultural labor, general maintenance of the internal/external properties, lawncare maintenance, custodial duties, waste disposal, and light construction as needed.

 

Reports to: Processing Supervisor

 

Supervises: none

 

Pay Grade/FLSA Status: H6/Non-exempt

 

Qualifications:

·        Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

·        Must be 21 years of age or older.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·           Label and package products as directed.

·           Fill and deliver orders from warehouse inventory.

·           Clean and maintain work areas as needed.

·           Weigh and portion products for packaging.

·           Assist with audits of inventory stock as needed.

·           Assist edibles team with basic tasks as necessary, including but not limited to: managing stock and inventory, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tracking and reporting waste.

·           Other job duties as assigned.

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·        Must be detail oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.

·        Must have a neat appearance with good personal hygiene.

·        Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually without close supervision.

·        Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, including flexible and/or extended hours as needed.

·        Strong work ethic.

·        Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical Demands:

·        Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, grasp, reach, twist.

·        Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

·        Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and working conditions as dictated by an agricultural environment.

·        Must be able to operate machinery including but not limited to: riding mowers, push mowers, weed-eaters, leaf blowers.
