Description

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Operational Management:
  • Covers front desk shifts during slow periods and/or as needed
  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  1. Staff Supervision:
  • Hire, lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing development opportunities for staff.
  • Schedule and allocate tasks to optimize efficiency and coverage.
  • Responsible for finding front desk coverage or filling front desk spots in the event staff calls out
  1. Guest Experience:
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote hotel services and special events.
  1. Financial Oversight:
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and approve purchases to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property meets cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep the hotel competitive.
  1. Crisis Management:
  • Respond to emergencies, such as safety incidents or technical issues, with efficiency and composure.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.



Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
