Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services, including:
• Brushing and bathing
• Hair cutting, trimming, and styling
• Ear cleaning
• Teeth cleaning
• Nail trimming and grinding
• Anal gland expression
• Safely handle and care for both small and large dogs throughout the grooming process.
• Ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in your care.
• Utilize professional grooming equipment, including clippers, shears, dryers, and nail grinders, while maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Manage grooming appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to pet owners.
• Assist in growing the grooming business by greeting customers, making appointment reminder calls, and promoting grooming services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming salon by performing routine housekeeping and following all safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous professional dog grooming experience required.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and techniques.
• Ability to safely handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
