Job Title: Wonkamping Couple — Front Desk & Maintenance

Location: Mountain Ridge Cabins & Lodging, Hatch, UT

Type: Part-time or Full-time (flexible)


About Us

Mountain Ridge Cabins & Lodging is a recently renovated, small hospitality property in Hatch, Utah. We pride ourselves on a tight-knit team and a high staff return rate. We’re seeking an RV-traveling couple (wonkamping) to join us handling front desk and maintenance responsibilities.


Position Overview

This role is designed for a couple who will share duties: one partner primarily staffing the front desk and guest services; the other handling property maintenance and light repairs. Both partners must be friendly, flexible, and able to respond calmly to rare emergency situations.


Front Desk (primary duties)

- Greet guests, check-ins/check-outs, manage reservations and payment processing

- Provide local information and excellent guest service

- Handle phone and email inquiries, coordinate housekeeping and room assignments

- Assist with light administrative tasks and recordkeeping


Maintenance (primary duties)

- Routine property upkeep: grounds, cabins, and common areas

- Basic plumbing, electrical, painting,

- Preventive maintenance checks and coordinated vendor work when needed

- Assist with guest issues related to facilities and safety


Qualifications

- Prior hospitality and/or maintenance experience preferred

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot under pressure

- Able to lift moderate loads and work outdoors in varying weather

- Clean background and reliable transportation (RV required)


Schedule & Pay Structure

- Flexible scheduling: part-time or full-time options available

- Two pay structures:

 1) With after-hours on-call responsibility (compensated at a higher rate): covers rare emergency calls outside standard hours.

 2) Without after-hours responsibility: standard wage and schedule; no on-call duty.

- Specific pay rates and RV parking/hookup arrangements will be discussed during interview. RV site is provided at no cost.
