Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized Host/Food Runner to be the first and last point of contact for guests and to support front-of-house operations at The Outlaw Saloon. This role balances greeting and seating guests with assisting servers by expediting food from kitchen to table when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly on arrival; manage waitlist.
- Seat guests, present menus, and communicate wait times accurately.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen to ensure timely, accurate food delivery (expo duties).
- Monitor dining room flow; manage table turns and server support.
- Answer phones, take to go orders, handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain front-of-house cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist with bussing/food running or closing duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous host, expo, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; able to multitask and prioritize.
- Positive attitude, team player, reliable, punctual.
- Basic POS and reservation system familiarity a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
