As a DSP, you will work directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), helping them build independence, participate in their community, achieve personal goals, and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

• Day shifts

• Weekend shifts

Day Services

• Daytime hours
• Full-time and part-time opportunities

What You'll Do

As a DSP, responsibilities may include:

• Provide individualized support based on each person's needs and goals
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed
• Support individuals in developing independent living skills
• Participate in community outings, activities, and appointments
• Assist with meal preparation and household responsibilities
• Follow medication-management procedures as trained and authorized
• Complete required daily documentation accurately and on time
• Follow individual support plans, health and safety protocols, and Mandala Community policies
• Promote dignity, choice, independence, inclusion, and respect
• Communicate professionally with individuals, guardians, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the support team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for team members who are:

• Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts consistently
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful
• Comfortable working directly with adults with IDD
• Able to follow written plans, policies, and supervisory direction
• Able to complete required electronic documentation
• Willing to complete required training
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team

Previous experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred but not required. We provide training to help the right candidates succeed.
