Karuna Wellness Studio is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our growing, multidisciplinary group practice. Karuna offers nutrition counseling and personal training from a non-diet, weight-neutral, whole body, inclusive approach. 

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mansfield, MA. The Registered Dietitian will be embedded in a patient-centered, collaborative pediatric medical practice that offers primary care, behavioral health and pharmacology services. Please carefully read the requirement below before applying: 

REQUIRED: 

• 2-3 days in-person in Mansfield, MA with hours expected to be ~10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. 
• 2-3 days remote/telehealth
• At least 1 year experience working with the pediatric population, infants through adolescents on general nutrition, picky eating, and family feeding.
• At least 1 year experience treating high acuity eating disorders in pediatrics and adolescents populations, including ARFID.
• Must be skilled in working with parents and family dynamics

PREFERRED: 

• Experience, passion, or interest in culinary education (cooking classes, food play) experiences with younger kiddos/families
• Experience, passion or interest in nutritional psychiatry for behavioral and mental health (ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression).
• Current certification, or interest in obtaining Personal Trainer Certification, with goal of offering in-office or virtual movement coaching

This is a truly unique position and a really cool opportunity for the right dietitian! The Karuna RD will sit side-by-side with pediatricians and therapists as an integrated member of the multidisciplinary, medical team. You will be working with a team of healthcare providers who truly understand the importance of nutrition support for their clients and are looking to more effectively and collaboratively include this service into their care.

You will work with a virtual team that is supportive, creative and fun; we love to learn, help each other grow, and watch our clients improve their relationship with food and their bodies.  We support diversity in our clients and our team, including but not limited to those from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or fat-positive communities, all backgrounds, and body types.

Additional Requirements:

• A passion for non-diet, weight-neutral, trauma-informed healthcare
• A passion for the integration of nutritional psychiatry and using lifestyle medicine to improve both physical and mental health
• 2+ years as a Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration in good standing
• Current Massachusetts RD license or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Computer and phone with internet access for virtual positions
• Strong technology skills and ability to quickly learn and navigate several online platforms
• Must have a strong understanding of Intuitive Eating and HAES principles
• Excellent nutrition counseling skills counseling from a weight-inclusive lens
• Evening availability at least 1 night per week required
• US Resident

Preferred (but not required):

• Individual NPI and existing, up-to-date credentialing with Massachusetts health insurance plans preferred
• A dietitian with additional state licenses will be highly considered

This is a W2 employee position with expected compensation in the range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year for a full-time position, based on experience and caseload.
