Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention, to diverse populations across various settings. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, fostering resilience and positive change. Duties


  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
  • Facilitate group therapy and family counseling sessions to promote social support and enhance treatment outcomes for children, families, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Implement crisis management strategies, including crisis intervention and PTSD care, ensuring safety and stabilization for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and medical social work protocols within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, integrating home & community care approaches for clients with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs.
  • Engage in clinical research activities such as data collection and analysis to support ongoing program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Experience


  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics in clinical settings such as hospitals or community health environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology coordination, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, medical documentation standards, CPT coding procedures, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • Background in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or special education populations is highly desirable.
  • Experience providing addiction counseling or working within substance use treatment programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care and familiarity with medical records management is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in crisis management, patient assessment, case management, and evidence-based practice implementation are essential for success in this role.
