Healing Springs Wellness Center is an integrative, culturally affirming mental health and wellness center dedicated to whole-person healing. We provide trauma-informed services including EMDR, somatic therapy, Reiki, massage, and wellness workshops. Our mission is to normalize mental health care, reduce barriers to access, and create a safe, inclusive environment where healing feels empowering and possible. Location: Plantsville, Connecticut | In person

Schedule: Daytime, evenings and/or weekends preferred

Position Type: Independent Contractor

What You’ll Do

• Provide personalized massage therapy using techniques appropriate to your training and clients’ needs, such as Swedish, deep tissue, or prenatal massage.
• Offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed bodywork that prioritizes consent, comfort, and client choice.
• Integrate complementary modalities, when appropriate, based on your qualifications and client preferences.
• Collaborate with clients on wellness goals and offer practical guidance for self-care between sessions.
• Maintain timely documentation and a clean, calm, welcoming treatment space.
• Allow time before and after appointments for preparation, sanitation, and client follow-up.
• Collaborate with our wellness team and participate in occasional outreach and community events.

What You’ll Bring

• An active Connecticut massage therapy license in good standing.
• At least two years of massage therapy experience.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• Training or experience in complementary wellness modalities preferred.
• A compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse clients.
• Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Evening and/or weekend availability preferred.
