Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)

Title: Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) – Salaried Employee

Reports to: Clinical Leadership & Operations Team

Works Closely With: Clinical Director, Intake Team, and Billing Team

Location: Hybrid Optional – in-office and telehealth

Hours: 25+ hours per week



Position Overview

We are looking for someone who brings an open attitude, collaborates well with leadership, and demonstrates tenacity, follow-through, and a willingness to grow. Professional development in trauma-wise and relational modalities is deeply valued in our practice culture.

As an employee, you will maintain a consistent caseload, follow established clinical and documentation standards, and participate in team collaboration. You will be supported with referrals, administrative services, and opportunities for growth within a connected and values-driven practice.


Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, child, or family therapy
  • Practice from an attachment-focused, trauma-wise perspective
  • Work with insurance (including Medicaid) and participate in credentialing/paneling with support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in SimplePractice
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultation, and practice-wide communication
  • Offer in-person and/or teletherapy sessions
  • Approach clients with warmth, curiosity, humility, and attuned presence


Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a grounded and relational therapist who is genuinely open to growth. The ideal LPCC collaborates well, receives guidance from leadership, and shows commitment and follow-through in both clinical and administrative responsibilities. You thrive in a team setting, appreciate structure and support, and are committed to developing your clinical skills within a trauma-informed framework.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling or a related field
  • Active LPCC license in Colorado
  • Willingness to be paneled with commercial insurance and Medicaid (administrative support provided)
  • Openness to ongoing training, feedback, and growth
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations across the lifespan
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


Preferred Experience (not required)

  • EMDR, Brainspotting, and/or Neurofeedback
  • Attachment-based or trauma-reprocessing modalities
  • Synergetic Play Therapy
  • Work with anxiety, depression, grief, betrayal trauma, chronic illness, or perinatal mental health
  • Sexual addiction or partner trauma
  • Cultural or identity-related transitions
