CUT CLUB opens this summer at Hotel Max, the latest from chef Ethan Stowell, a cornerstone of Seattle dining for over two decades. Stowell built his name on honest ingredients and bold simplicity, and he brings that same focus to a new kind of room: one that runs the full arc of the day, from breakfast to long, unhurried dinners. Cut Club is a new modern steakhouse opening this summer adjacent to Hotel Max in downtown Seattle. Our dinner menu anchors around prime cuts and an elevated raw bar, with a full breakfast and lunch program and a lively happy hour. We're looking for an AGM who loves making guests happy and will lead our front-of-house team with positivity, and help us build something special.


The Role

As AGM, you set the standard for the team, the guest experience, and the feel of the room. This role is about making great hospitality the baseline.


What You'll Own

  • Floor leadership a visible, engaged presence throughout service; setting the tone with focused pre-shifts; catching issues before they reach the guest
  • Guest experience handling concerns and special requests with ownership, authorizing service recovery within guidelines, and making sure regulars and VIPs feel it
  • Team coaching real-time feedback, accountability, and support onboarding new FOH staff
  • Scheduling drafting the weekly FOH schedule for manager approval, balancing coverage with team wellbeing
  • Bar & beverage oversight creative input on the bar program and comfort making the numbers work alongside the FOH Manager
  • Opening & closing thorough setup, breakdown, and clean handoff to the next shift
  • Communication proactive shift reporting to the FOH Manager, so nothing catches them by surprise


Growth Opportunity

This role offers real mentorship from our current FOH Manager and exposure to the broader scope of running the floor, for the right person interested in growing into greater leadership responsibility.


What You Bring

  • 2+ years of front-of-house experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
  • Prior experience as a lead server, shift lead, or FOH supervisor
  • Strong instincts for table pacing, floor management, and guest recovery
  • Working knowledge of Washington State alcohol regulations
  • Comfort with POS systems and basic scheduling
  • Reliable availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bonus: experience building staff schedules and wine/cocktail knowledge
  • Familiarity with Resy (our reservation system)
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
