Job Title: Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Employment Classification: Employee, Part-Time
Location: Hybrid
Pay: $25/hr- 10 hrs per week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Subject to the policies and management directions established by the Executive Director, the duties of the Outreach Coordinator shall include:
Community Partnerships - 50%
- Establish and cultivate strong, dynamic partnerships with local, regional, national, and international organizations (including churches, alumni associations, vivid groups, senior centers, social service agencies, Department of Homeless Services, community centers, after school programs, cultural institutions, CBOs, performing arts facilities, and schools)
- Facilitate communications and site visits with local partners
- Invite local communities and stakeholders (including churches, senior centers & schools) to Braata events and performances
- Identify opportunities for local organizations to fundraise through Braata events
Sales 40%
- Manage and promote group sales to previous and prospective ticket sellers for upcoming events, serving as the primary liaison between patrons and internal teams
- Coordinate fundraising event partnerships with organizations such as schools and churches, guiding them through bulk ticket purchasing and resale processes.
- Support audience development efforts by expanding group attendance, ensuring smooth communication, sales tracking, and commission distribution.
- Engage community businesses in company-sponsored events ie. sponsorship procurement
Program Administration 5%
- Maintain contact databases for community partnerships, promoters/presenters, and ticket sales with detailed notes and booking information
- Assist with research and development to find potential performance opportunities and new sales leads.
- Assist with preparation and distribution of solicitation materials and correspondences
Event Support - 5%
- Participate and provide on site support during Braata events
Qualifications and Special Requirements:
- Associates’s degree and/or 2 to 3 years relevant experience in event planning or operations.
- Knowledge of, and experience working with large-scale events.
- Excellent communication skills. Position requires frequent contact with the public, clients, vendors, and volunteers.
- Strong time-management abilities and the capability to deliver results on strict timetables.
- Strong personal work ethic and the desire to take pride in assigned work.
- Strong analytical skills, including great attention to detail and the patience to manage and maintain large pools of information and data.
- Self-starter comfortable prioritizing multiple projects and duties under minimal supervision
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Team player
- Welcomes feedback, regularly seeking to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Genuine enthusiasm for Braata’s mission.
- Experience preferred with the following systems:
- Monday.com
- G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc).
- Canva
- Airtable
- Slack
