The Regional Parks Foundation builds strong community support for East Bay Regional Parks for the enjoyment of all, forever. We build community support for East Bay Regional Parks. We fund projects and acquisitions that enhance the visitor experience, support programs that increase equitable access, invest in stewardship initiatives that protect natural resources, and catalyze innovative pilots that test new approaches to serving our communities. In doing so, we help ensure the District can deliver on its mission while building a broad base of community support and engagement. The East Bay Regional Parks are the largest regional park system in the country: 73 parks spanning more than 126,000 acres, 1330 miles of trails, and 55 miles of shoreline, offering countless opportunities for recreation, education, conservation, and connection to nature. For over 56 years, the Regional Parks Foundation has served as the philanthropic arm of the East Bay Regional Park District, raising funds to enhance and expand these beloved public spaces.
