PrePublic Equity Partners invests in the private secondary market, buying shares in late-stage, pre-IPO venture-backed companies. We are a small, high performing team that efficiently and diligently runs an entire deal process, including sourcing across a broad network, underwriting companies on limited information, pricing transactions, and reporting to our LPs and board with institutional rigor. We are deliberately a small team, which is where our leverage comes from. As a start-up investing firm with the backing of an established institution, we have had a blank slate for the past year, and we used it to build our operating stack around AI. Workflows across most of our operations are already heavily automated. We are hiring someone to make that better and to extend it into the rest of the firm.
