Foxhound Bee Company was founded in 2014 by Adam Hickman after he started keeping bees in 2012, and we’ve grown from selling supplies out of a truck into a beekeeping supply and education company built on one belief: good beekeeping starts with good teaching. Based in Irondale, Alabama, we operate from a 5,000 sq ft facility with a retail store, classroom, honey processing room, outdoor pavilion, and teaching apiary, plus additional warehouses for storage and manufacturing. We specialize in high-quality cypress hives and trusted beekeeping gear, and we serve customers through hands-on education, practical support, and nationwide shipping through our website and select products on Amazon.
