Driver Rehabilitation Center of Excellence (DRCE) was founded in 2016 from a commitment to make independent driving accessible to individuals with adaptive mobility needs. Our CEO, Tammy Phipps, developed the first comprehensive adaptive driving program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2008. Inspired by a transformative experience working with a veteran named Josh, Tammy partnered with him to establish DRCE and expand access to driver rehabilitation services within the community. At DRCE, our mission is to help clients achieve safe, confident, and independent driving tailored to each individual’s unique needs while setting a standard of excellence in the field of driver rehabilitation. Our core values guide everything we do: Commitment to supporting our clients every step of the way, Integrity in upholding honesty and ethical standards, Innovation through continual improvement and the use of the latest techniques, Empathy in approaching every interaction with compassion, and Excellence in exceeding expectations in service and impact.
