In 2019 our founder, Tiffany, started designing hair clips and claws because she couldn’t find any high quality cute ones for herself. It started out as just her, working out of her basement, doing all the things. By the beginning of 2020, momentum was already starting to build but whether we chalk it up to Y2K nostalgia, quarantine life, or our iconic Checker Claw, 2020 was a gamechanging year. Fast forward two more years and we’re now a team of 14 amazing women and queer people, definitely not working out of a basement anymore but still dying to make you the cutest, chunkiest accessories and continually committed towards responsible manufacturing and destigmatizing what it means to be “made in China
