We are a smaller job shop with the occasional production run jobs. The shop is populated with 6 vertical milling machines. We are like minded individuals with a passion for machining. We have a creative and talented crew that is made up of engineers and machinist/programmers.

We are looking for a self starter, that is capable of programming and machining components in a HAAS / Fanuc operated vertical cnc machine. This job shop is located in Fitchburg and I am looking for the right candidate to run the operation on first shift with little supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the freedom to work on projects daily. This position has a lot of potential as this is a growing shop and industry. This is a fast paced shop with a talented group of individuals that can help you grow in this field. In this small shop we are participate in the day to day activities from sweeping the floor to operating the machines.

Requirements:

1. Proficient in using Autodesk Fusion 360, MasterCam or other cam softwares
2. Knowledge and use of Haas CNC milling machines and controls as well as Fanuc based equipment.
3. Knowledge of milling various different material like aluminums, metals, alloys and plastics
4. Able of responding to customers needs and as well as calling vendors for material quotes and outside services
5. Able to read a 2D CAD Drawing
6. Sufficient use of measuring equipment
7. This candidate must be clean and organized and capable of keep all work spaces the same way.
