Zora's House Inc Project Lead: Zora’s House Website Overhaul Columbus, OH · Contractor Company website

Zora’s House seeks an experienced web development partner to overhaul its current website. The goal is to transform www.zorashouse.com into a modern, intuitive, and high-impact digital platform that functions as both a communications hub and organizational storefront. Our current site reflects the multifaceted nature of the lives and experiences of the women and gender expansive people we center at the core of all that we do and achieve as an organization. In striving to reflect the many intersecting identities that benefit from our programs and initiatives, we risk overwhelming visitors with too much repetitive and often out of date information. In our new site, we want to streamline our communications in favor of a simpler and easier to understand approach to relaying our value to the Central Ohio community and those around the world who may be curious about our present expression of the future we envision. Our new site should feature seamless ways to update our many audiences on the opportunities folks have to engage with our programs and events (for example, a quick way to see if vendor applications are open for our Women+ of Color Owned Markets, or if applications are open for our Fellowship or Z-Suite programs). The selected developer will translate our strategic direction—developed by Zora’s House leadership—into a user-friendly, accessible, visually striking site that aligns with our updated brand, strategy, and goals.

About Zora's House Inc

Zora’s House is a non-profit that provides women of color and gender expansive people of color with the space, the skills, and the strategic connections they need to thrive, personally and professionally. As an organization, we give women of color what they need to grow – whatever that might be at this moment. But typically it takes the form of one of three things: Space, Skills, or Strategic Connections: Space: For some, they use our coworking, shared offices, and retreat space, as a safe haven to connect with others and to work towards their own dreams. Skill building: If women are looking to build skills, they may choose to enroll in programs like our HerWay Business Builder, Wealth Builder programs, or Leadership Fellows program. Strategic Connections: Whether you’re new to the community or born and raised in Central OH, Zora’s House members build connections with new mentors, collaborators, and supporters that they may never have met outside of ZH.
