Key Responsibilities:

Program Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to create and execute a values-aligned programming strategy.
  • Develop and deliver Zora’s House signature programs, ensuring they reflect the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of program planning, communication, and delivery.
  • Co-conceptualize new programs that align with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Regularly and annually audit existing programs to evaluate impact, relevance, and alignment with strategic priorities.


Grant Compliance & Reporting:

  • Write, edit, and collect documentation to ensure compliance with program grants, including tracking and reporting deliverable outcomes.
  • Support the identification and recommendation of future expenditures to align programs with funding opportunities.


Marketing & Communications:

  • Co-create with the Marketing and Communications team to promote programs and events, ensuring consistent messaging and reach.
  • Provide program-related information to support development and donor stewardship, highlighting program impact and outcomes.
  • Frequent online and in person engagement with participants


Program Evaluation & Needs Assessment:

  • Deploy pre- and post-program evaluation surveys to measure impact and collect feedback.
  • Track metrics and data to assess program success and inform future improvements.
  • Co-execute needs assessments in partnership with the Partnerships and Memberships teams to align programming with community and stakeholder priorities.


Fellowship Facilitation & Support:

  • Facilitate training sessions and provide support for Zora’s House Fellows, fostering their growth and alignment with organizational values.


Financial Oversight:

  • Manage and report on all program expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets and organizational priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic programming plans.
  • Proficiency in grant compliance and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with marketing and communications teams.
  • Ability to conduct program evaluations and needs assessments.
  • Strong facilitation and training skills.
  • Experience in managing program budgets and expenditures.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Salary:
  • Salary range: $50,000 - $58,000

As we continue to build on our culture of collaboration and community at Zora’s House, we are updating our office attendance policy to support our growth and strengthen our team connections. All employees are required to come to the office two days per week. One of those days will be Wednesday, and the second day is flexible for each staff member to choose based on what works best for them. The Program Manager reports to the Managing Director. This role requires frequent evenings and weekends.
