Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic medications.
• Provide ongoing medication management and supportive therapy.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and medication usage.
• Participate in team case consultations, clinical meetings, and spiritual support discussions when appropriate.
• Stay informed of advancements in psychiatric medicine and mental health treatment.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of accredited Psychiatry residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in CA.
• Must carry and maintain active malpractice insurance
• Active DEA license with ability to prescribe controlled substances.
• Experience working with diverse populations and diagnoses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
