Your Role:

As a Behavior Analyst at Zephyr, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of our young learners through a child-centered approach. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, designing personalized treatment plans, and mentoring a dedicated team of behavior therapists. You’ll help create a playful and supportive environment where children can flourish and express their unique personalities.

Responsibilities: The student analyst will work on developing the following clinical competencies with oversight from a BCBA during their time as a student analyst. They will also continue to receive support in these areas upon their transition to the role of a BCBA. These competencies will be targeted through practical application to the caseload the student analyst is supporting. The student analyst should be prepared to ask critical, thought-provoking questions to develop their own understanding of the role of a BCBA at Zephyr. They should also be prepared to receive and implement feedback given from their supervising BCBAs.

  • Perform VB-MAPP, Vineland, and other research-based assessments
  • Design custom treatment plans and programming for each client
  • Write comprehensive reports that meet insurance requirements with oversight from BCBA
  • Track and monitor progress data, make changes to programs when progress is not demonstrated with oversight from BCBA
  • Provide individual and group trainings to behavior therapists
  • Model playful session implementation
  • Provide direct service to clients as needed

  • Identify client strengths and deficits using standardized assessments
  • Write developmentally appropriate treatment plans targeting socially significant skills
  • Advocate for medical necessity of services to client insurance company
  • Achieve meaningful client progress through clinical program oversight
  • Write function-based behavior support plans that include functional communication training, train BTs to implement with integrity
  • Continuously train BTs on the principles of ABA
  • Supervise and coach BTs on how to interact with clients and how to implement client programming
  • Analyze client progress data and make programming changes accordingly
  • Provide parent training on a regular basis, ensure generalization of client skills across settings
  • Administrative Competencies:
  • Write detailed treatment plans that showcase medical necessity
  • Maintain documentation of all services provided
  • Maintain documentation of corrective feedback delivered to BTs
  • Write objective and detailed session notes to be submitted to insurance
  • Complete all daily session notes prior to leaving the center
  • Comply with all HR onboarding tasks and ongoing documentation
  • Follow agency time-off and sick policies
  • Respond to emails within 24 hours

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completed Master’s Degree in ABA or upcoming completion of Master’s Degree (within 1-2 months)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification, licensure, and credentialing
  • Experience conducting various research-based assessments
  • Humble leadership
  • Loves working with people and welcoming of different perspectives
  • Knowledge of naturalistic teaching strategies in ABA
  • Knowledge of AAC devices and programming for their use
  • Knowledge of pairing procedures and ability to model strong pairing strategies

  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum 30lb)
  • Must be able to engage in high-energy play outdoors in a variety of types of weather


Salary

$26 - $30 per hour
