The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing materials, parts, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of quality standards, and the ability to effectively communicate findings.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished

products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

● Use various measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product

dimensions and performance.

● Document and maintain detailed records of inspection results, findings, and

quality reports.

● Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address

quality issues.

● Perform root cause analysis of defects and assist in implementing corrective and

preventive actions.

● Participate in quality audits and inspections as required.

● Report any non-conformance or defects to the Quality Control Manager and

suggest improvements or necessary actions.

● Maintain calibration records of inspection tools and equipment.

● Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols in all activities.

● Stay current with company standards, industry practices, and applicable codes

(e.g., IBC, IRC).


Qualifications:

● 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role within a

manufacturing environment.

● Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards, preferably in modular

home manufacturing, construction, or related industries.

● Proficiency in using inspection and testing tools

● Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

● Effective communication and documentation skills.

● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

● Basic understanding of regulatory standards, including IBC and IRC codes, is

preferred.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
