The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
Education equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship training
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques and equipment
Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings
Responsible for inspection group in terms of costs, methods and personnel (up to 4 employees).
Training in the following areas: General safety, Manufacturing and Construction Standards
$25 - $35 per hour
