ZenniHome is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and optimizing production flow. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Analyze production data and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability for production.
  • Optimize production processes and resource utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Generate production reports and provide regular updates to management on production status.
  • Participate in production meetings and provide input on scheduling and planning issues.
  • Implement and maintain production planning systems and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Non-degreed applicants encouraged to apply 
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • APICS certification.
