Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Snowflake, AZ, known as the Rim location. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective production, meeting quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.

You will have the exciting opportunity shadow/learn existing operations in Page, AZ and then transfer that knowledge to the Rim. Temporary housing is provided during this ramp-up phase but expectation is to relocate to Snowflake, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
• Supervise production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production output and performance.
• Manage inventory of materials and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to coordinate production activities.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to meet product specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the residential construction or modular home manufacturing industry.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Netsuite ERP highly preferred 

Working Conditions

• Work will primarily be performed in a manufacturing environment.
