To support ZenniHomeTM continuous growth, the Logistic Engineer develops, installs, executes, and monitors an efficient logistic concept for global sourced material and products in close collaboration with the sourcing, operation, and sales team. The role reports to Zennihome’s COO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, install, execute, and monitor an efficient logistic and warehouse concept for global sourced material and products.
  • Execute physical logistics from the supplier through the factory to our customer.
  • Defines and implements most cost- and quality efficient transportation routes. 
  • Collaborates with local companies in Page to bundle transportation.
  • Works close with the sourcing and procurement team to achieve best landed cost for material
  • Monitors logistic cost and quality as well as on time delivery and achieves targets. 
  • Fulfills legal requirements. 
  • Drive regular price negotiation with supplier and forwarder 
  • Drive ratio with design, operation, sourcing and procurement team
  • Recommends sourcing of forwarder
  • Collaborates with maintenance to keep logistic equipment in top condition
  • Integrates Logistic processes into ZenniHome's MRP and MES system.
  • Implement, continuously improve KPRs and KPIs 
  • Drive on time delivery, financial excellence with operational efficiency.
  • Be a respected and valuable player in ZenniHome's operation team


Requirements

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in logistic management. 
  • 3 years’ experience as a logistic planner.
  • 2 years’ experience in execution of physical logistics 
  • Track record to deal with global transportation, China, Mexico, and Eastern Europe is a plus.
  • Background in transportation and warehousing of home related materials, like household appliances, furniture, tiles, armatures, but also steel 
  • Accountability and structured thinking and working
  • Work experience in MRP and MES systems.  
  • Proficiency in using software to automate and digitize logistic processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, team, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.


Salary

$70,000 - $75,000 per year
