The Inventory Control Coordinator monitors parts issued and transferred among multiple locations.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Entering data for quantities of parts issued and transferred among locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database
  • Closing shop packets received and purging computer database
  • Receiving and issuing finished goods into computer database
  • Troubleshooting quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel
  • Recording and monitoring all items with shelf-life daily and notifying appropriate personnel when material has expired
  • Preparing monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights
  • Preparing and participating in yearly physical inventory
  • Managing activities of one or more stock room clerks
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

High School Diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum

Minimum of one year Inventory Control experience

Must be computer literate

Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy

Ability to properly handle confidential information and records

Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies

Salary

$13 - $25 per hour
