The Inspector performs inspections of the Company’s products to determine conformance with specifications. Work closely with 3rd party inspectors.
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Utilizing standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs
- Processing associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents
- Working under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have a minimum of 6 months inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs
Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions
Knowledge of manual product marking systems and automatic systems a plus
Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniques
Good basic mathematical aptitude required
Salary
$13 - $25 per hour
