We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our team and help us improve the efficiency and productivity of our modular home manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating the systems and processes that optimize the use of materials, equipment, energy, and human resources in the plant. You will also collaborate with other engineers, managers, and workers to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. To be successful as an Industrial Engineer, you should have a strong background in engineering, mathematics, and statistics, as well as excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. You should also be familiar with the principles and methods of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. You should be able to analyze data, identify opportunities, and propose solutions that enhance the performance and profitability of the plant.

Description

Responsibilities

 Analyze the current systems and processes of the plant and identify areas for

improvement.

 Design and implement new or modified systems and processes that optimize the

use of resources, reduce waste, and increase output.

 Conduct experiments, simulations, and tests to evaluate the effectiveness and

feasibility of the proposed solutions.

 Collect and analyze data on the plant operations, such as production rates,

costs, quality, and safety.

 Prepare and present reports and recommendations to management and

stakeholders.

 Monitor and evaluate the implementation and outcomes of the solutions and

make adjustments as needed.

 Train and supervise the workers on the new or modified systems and processes.

 Research and stay updated on the best practices and technologies in the field of

industrial engineering and modular home manufacturing.


Industrial Engineer Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.

 Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing

environment.

 Knowledge and skills in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous

improvement techniques.

 Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

 Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work independently and in a team.

 Attention to detail and quality.

 Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands.

Salary

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
