Position Overview
Front Desk Team Members are the first and last impression for every rider who walks through our doors. You’ll bring warmth, professionalism, and energy to every interaction - ensuring our community feels welcomed, supported, and excited for their ride. This role blends customer service, operational excellence, and sales support, playing a key part in the rider experience from check-in to checkout.
Key Responsibilities
Rider Experience & Service
- Greet every rider with a genuine, friendly welcome.
- Assist with check-in, bike setup, and questions before class.
- Celebrate rider milestones and wins, both in-person and through our milestone process.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and organized front desk and lobby area.
Sales & Membership Support
- Confidently discuss membership options, credit packs, promotions, and retail.
- Assist riders with account setup, booking, and payment in MarianaTek.
- Upsell memberships and merchandise when appropriate, using a consultative, non-pushy approach.
Studio Operations
- Follow all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
- Complete bike checks, studio resets, and cleanliness standards before and after classes.
- Restock retail and supplies as needed.
- Follow health & safety procedures and assist in emergencies when necessary.
Team & Communication
- Work closely with instructors and leadership to ensure seamless class flow.
- Communicate rider feedback, studio needs, and operational issues promptly.
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Passion for fitness, health, and community.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Basic tech skills and comfort learning booking software (MarianaTek experience a plus).
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
Expectations & Growth Path
- Shift Minimum: Available for at least 2 shifts per week, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
- Performance Standards: Consistently meet rider service, sales, and operational benchmarks.
- Promotion Opportunities: Eligible for Senior Front Desk, Assistant Studio Manager, and Studio Manager roles based on performance, leadership, and contribution.
- Ongoing Learning: Participate in all required training, updates, and new system rollouts.
