Z5 Inventory Specialists are responsible for the daily ordering and replenishment of our customers' RFID-tracked medical supplies within the non-acute satellite locations. This role provides inventory management expertise designed to support an organization's need to right-size inventory, improve efficiencies, streamline processes, and effect change management at the clinical department level, specifically within satellite offices. This position will also support ongoing projects and cover routes during PTO. Description The Inventory Specialist will be in a customer-facing role, acting as a liaison, providing product information, and resolving any emerging problems the customer account might face accurately and efficiently. There is a need to communicate clearly and to be an analytical person with confidence in troubleshooting.

Description

Responsibilities


Daily


  • Traveling to satellite locations
  • Tag and register RFID-tracked products
  • Order and replenish products
  • Process on-demand requests
  • Asset location management and upkeep
  • Manage customer relationships at satellite locations
  • Provide back-order resolution and mitigation
  • Perform a physical inventory of RFID-tracked medical products
  • Track missing inventory
  • Keep inventory organized, labeled, and rotated


Monthly


  • Analyze Dashboard and provide recommendations for action with the Team Supervisor
  • Right-sizing inventory (including consolidating, PAR level review, and SKU rationalization)
  • Define and assist in executing projects
  • Identify, find, pull, and disposition of expiring and recalled products
  • Attend Team meetings virtually and in person


Administrative Responsibilities


  • Managing and submitting own timecards
  • Point of use location management and upkeep
  • Maintain vendor credentialing compliance


Qualifications


  • High school diploma, associate's preferred
  • Experience in inventory management, healthcare inventory management preferred
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills are essential
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required


The following vaccinations will be required upon hire:


  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance are required
  • This is NOT a remote position
