SALES SUPERVISOR


Reports to: Assistant Store Sales Manager, Store Sales Manager

Direct Reports: Beauty Advisors


Primary Purpose: The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and fostering a productive team environment. The Sales Supervisor plays a key role in driving sales, coaching team members, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere aligned with company values.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support Sales Operations: Assist in managing daily sales activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Enhance Sales Performance: Work closely with the upper leadership team to execute strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and boosting profitability.
  • Supervise Sales Floor Activities: Lead by example on the sales floor, providing direction and support to Sales Associates to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Visual Standards: Ensure that visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines to provide an appealing and cohesive customer experience.
  • Promote Product Knowledge: Facilitate ongoing training for Sales Associates to enhance their understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Foster Team Productivity: Motivate and support team members to reach their individual and collective sales goals in a collaborative and respectful environment.
  • Assist with Workforce Management: Help with scheduling and monitoring Sales Associates to optimize staffing levels and productivity.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Support the recruitment process and participate in the onboarding and training of new Sales Associates to build a skilled and enthusiastic team.
  • Exemplify Selling Behaviors: Demonstrate effective selling techniques and customer engagement practices to set a standard for the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to enhance customer satisfaction and drive loyalty.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to delegate and follow up effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of beauty products, and services, and ability to conduct live product demonstrations on clients, such as facial care is required.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
