MULTI-STORE SALES MANAGER


Reports to: Head of Retail

Direct Reports: Assistant Sales Managers, Sales Supervisors, Beauty Advisors


Primary Purpose: The Store Sales Manager drives total store sales, customer experience, overall operational excellence, and our high-performance selling culture. The Store Sales Manager has primary responsibility for the management of the store, including directing the work of direct reports, and is responsible for the culture, associate, and engagement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the overall store operations with integrity and commitment: Oversee daily store functions, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to company values.
  • Drive financial growth and profitability: Strategize and implement initiatives to achieve year-over-year financial growth and profitability, demonstrating a demanding and passionate approach to business success.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team: Create a respectful and high-performance selling culture, coaching and developing team members to achieve best-in-class selling behaviors.
  • Ensure brand consistency in visual merchandising: Maintain brand standards to enhance customer experience, showing integrity in every detail.
  • Develop and maintain associates’ product knowledge: Foster a committed learning environment that empowers associates to perform at their best.
  • Influence and inspire productivity: Motivate team members to unlock their potential, ensuring a respectful and supportive work atmosphere.
  • Workforce management: Oversee talent productivity, scheduling, and compliance, demonstrating a demanding yet fair approach.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the beauty industry, such as retail sales in beauty and cosmetics, esthetician, or cosmetology is required.
  • Ability to conduct live product demonstrations on clients, such as facial care is required.
  • Previous experience leading leaders and associate teams is required.
  • Proven ability to lead a pay-for-performance selling team is preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive loyalty through respectful and effective service.
  • Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow up, and communicate across all levels of the organization with integrity.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop, and manage performance.
  • Demonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent visual merchandising skills.
