We are seeking an experienced Special Projects Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives and high-impact projects that support the Foundation's growth, innovation, and long-term mission.

Overview

The Special Projects Program Manager provides leadership for strategic and cross-functional initiatives on a per diem, as-needed basis during the Foundation's growth phase. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of special projects while working closely with executive leadership to advance organizational priorities. As Youth RISE Foundation expands and operational needs increase, this position may transition into a full-time salaried leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of special projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and measurable objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with community partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Support the launch of new programs, services, and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain project documentation and evaluate project outcomes.
  • Recommend operational improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Perform additional strategic assignments as directed by executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing organizational initiatives or complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
