Overview

The Recruiting Intern will support the Foundation's recruitment and talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and helping create an exceptional candidate experience. This internship offers hands-on experience in recruiting, human resources, and nonprofit talent acquisition while working alongside organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and engage qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Review resumes and assist with candidate screening.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain applicant records and recruiting databases.
  • Assist with onboarding materials and new team member orientation.
  • Draft and post job advertisements.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and hiring events.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs.
  • Promote Youth RISE Foundation's mission to prospective candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college, university, or technical program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Interest in human resources, recruiting, business administration, psychology, communications, or nonprofit leadership.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
