Youth RISE Foundation is seeking an IT Manager to help maintain, improve, and develop the technology systems that support the organization's day-to-day operations.
This opportunity is designed for someone with some experience in information technology, systems administration, technical support, cybersecurity, software administration, or a related area who wants to strengthen their skills while contributing to a growing nonprofit.
The position is currently unpaid and does not guarantee compensation or future employment.
The expected commitment is approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility around the individual's schedule.
The IT Manager is responsible for helping Youth RISE Foundation maintain a reliable, secure, organized, and user-friendly technology environment.
The position provides hands-on exposure to IT operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, software management, user support, documentation, and technology planning.
The IT Manager will work closely with the Executive Director of Operations and organizational leadership to ensure that technology supports the Foundation's mission and operational needs.

You do not need to know every technology platform Youth RISE uses.
We are looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, willing to learn, and comfortable figuring things out.
Some relevant experience is preferred, but extensive management experience is not required.
Relevant experience may include:
Relevant education or certifications may include information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, network administration, or related fields.
Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, or similar credentials are welcome but not required.

The position is intentionally structured around a manageable and flexible 10–15 hour weekly commitment.
The role does not require a traditional 9-to-5 schedule.
