We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support the Foundation's HR team while gaining hands-on experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, compliance, and nonprofit human resources.

Overview

The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions while developing practical experience in human resources and nonprofit management. This role works closely with the HR team to assist with recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, training, and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
  • Help schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications.
  • Maintain confidential personnel records and HR documentation.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Help prepare HR reports, forms, and organizational documents.
  • Support policy updates and compliance-related projects.
  • Assist with training and professional development activities.
  • Perform administrative duties and other HR-related projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college, university, or technical program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Interest in human resources and nonprofit leadership.
