Youth RISE Foundation (Resources • Inspiration • Service • Empowerment) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through leadership development, mentorship, education, workforce readiness, healthcare career exploration, civic engagement, and community impact initiatives.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated High School Success Coach to mentor and support high school students as they prepare for graduation, postsecondary education, and future careers.

Overview

The High School Success Coach provides individualized coaching and mentorship to high school students, helping them achieve academic, personal, and career goals. Working on a per diem basis, this role supports students through academic planning, leadership development, college and career readiness, and connections to educational and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to high school students.
• Assist students with academic planning and goal setting.
• Support college, career, and workforce readiness initiatives.
• Connect students with educational, scholarship, and community resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide ongoing encouragement and accountability.
• Facilitate workshops on study skills, leadership, time management, and personal development.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support student success.
• Maintain accurate coaching records and program documentation.
• Identify barriers to student success and connect participants with appropriate resources.
• Participate in Foundation events, meetings, and youth engagement activities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Development, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with high school students in educational, mentoring, counseling, or youth development settings.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual communication platforms.
