As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to join our Founding Executive Leadership Team and help guide the Foundation's long-term growth, organizational development, and strategic partnerships.

Position Overview

The Chief Strategy Officer serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for developing and executing the Foundation's long-term strategic plan. The CSO works collaboratively with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen organizational performance, establish strategic partnerships, and ensure all initiatives align with the Foundation's mission and vision.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience in organizational leadership, business strategy, nonprofit management, public policy, healthcare, education, consulting, or corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Foundation's strategic plan.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational growth, expansion, and innovation.
  • Conduct strategic planning, organizational assessments, and market research.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with nonprofits, corporations, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and government agencies.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational priorities and performance metrics.
  • Support grant strategy, sustainability initiatives, and long-term organizational planning.
  • Evaluate organizational performance and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Prepare executive reports, strategic recommendations, and Board presentations.
  • Promote innovation and continuous organizational improvement.
  • Represent the Foundation in strategic meetings, partnerships, and external engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Executive or senior leadership experience in strategy, operations, nonprofit leadership, consulting, business development, or organizational management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing organizational growth strategies and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for youth empowerment and mission-driven leadership.

Position Structure

Youth RISE Foundation is currently expanding its leadership infrastructure and program portfolio.

Selected candidates will initially join as members of the Foundation's Founding Executive Leadership Team and contribute on a flexible basis, generally averaging 5–10 hours per week, depending on organizational needs and individual availability.

As grants, sponsorships, donations, contracts, and other sustainable funding sources continue to grow, the Foundation anticipates transitioning qualified founding leaders into compensated full-time executive positions, based on funding availability, organizational needs, Board approval, and mutual agreement.
