Job Description:

Youngberg Hill Winery is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Tasting Room Associate to provide exceptional wine experiences to our guests. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in creating a warm and informative atmosphere in our tasting room, promoting wine club memberships, and ensuring that each visitor leaves with a lasting impression of Youngberg Hill.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

• Deliver outstanding service to all guests

• Offer engaging and educational wine tastings, sharing insights about Youngberg Hill wines, the winemaking process, and the Willamette Valley.

• Encourage guests to join our wine club and assist them with the sign-up process.

Daily Operations:

• Set up and maintain cleanliness in the tasting room and surrounding areas.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the tasting room offerings

• Greet guests promptly upon arrival.

• Replenish inventory, clean glassware, sanitize surfaces, and prepare food items like charcuterie boards as needed.

Additional Duties:

• Follow up with wine club members via phone calls as directed.

• Participate in planning promotional events and customer engagement strategies.

• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager or General Manager.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for wine and a commitment to educating and engaging guests.

• Previous experience in a tasting room, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.

• Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
