Job Description:

Youngberg Hill Winery and Inn is currently seeking a Part-Time Innkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. The Innkeeper will be responsible for various tasks including breakfast preparation, guest check-ins, overseeing housekeeping staff, and ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

• Prepare and serve breakfast for inn guests.

• Conduct daily inspections of common areas to ensure they are well-maintained.

• Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and provide property tours.

• Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries and requests.

Housekeeping Coordination:

• Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared to standard.

• Ensure cleanliness of common areas after housekeeping tasks are completed.

• Confirm housekeeping duties have been carried out effectively.

Operations Management:

• Manage guest reservations, communications, and inquiries.

• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Organize orders for supplies from vendors.

• Assist with preparing charcuterie boards and supporting the tasting room as needed.

Administrative Duties:

• Answer phone calls and emails promptly.

• Maintain accurate records and update reservation systems.

• Handle after-hours calls during scheduled shifts.

Event Support:

• Assist with check-ins for wedding parties and event guests.

• Accommodate special requests for events.

Requirements:

• Excellent hospitality and customer service skills.

• Previous experience in innkeeping, hospitality, or a related field.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficient with computer programs such as Word and reservation systems.

• Able to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively across departments.

• Availability to work weekends.
