Job Description:
We are looking for reliable and professional drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. As an NEMT driver, you will transport patients safely and comfortably to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and timely transportation for clients.
- Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges as needed
- Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and meet safety standards.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.
- Maintain accurate trip records and mileage logs.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client comfort.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid New York State Driver’s License (CDL preferred but Class E required).
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience in patient transportation, taxi, or delivery driving is a plus.
- Knowledge of Monroe County and surrounding areas roads and medical facilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers with mobility devices if necessary.
