The Role
As a Home Health Aide, you play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities and personal care needs. Your support helps clients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving care in the comfort of their own homes.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote their well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the healthcare team.
- Help clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families to ensure comfort and support.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in home care.
Nice to Have
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification.
- Experience working with clients with specific needs, such as elderly or disabled individuals.
- First aid and CPR certification.
