Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver company trucks in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies
- Transport goods from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secure and properly distributed within the truck
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate channels
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any transportation-related issues
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Strong knowledge of trucking regulations and safety practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job
- High school diploma or equivalent
