Description

At Yogis, our Managers do more than run shifts—they create experiences, develop people, and set the tone for everything that happens in the restaurant. As a Manager, you'll be responsible for leading your assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR), building a strong team culture, and delivering the kind of hospitality that keeps guests coming back.


You'll be a hands-on leader who inspires your team through coaching, accountability, and leading by example. Whether you're supporting Service, Kitchen, or Bar operations, your impact will be felt in every guest interaction, every shift, and every team member you help develop.


In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, Managers take ownership of either Service, Kitchen, or Bar operations. Specific expectations for each area are detailed in the AOR Management Outlines. As you build proficiency and master each area, you'll have opportunities for increased responsibility, career growth, title advancement, and compensation progression.


What You'll Do

  • Lead & Develop Great Teams
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members who deliver exceptional hospitality and represent the Yogis culture.
  • Coach and mentor employees through regular feedback, recognition, and performance conversations.
  • Create an engaging environment where team members feel supported, challenged, and motivated to grow.
  • Lead ongoing training focused on products, service standards, operational excellence, and leadership development.
  • Address performance concerns professionally and consistently while maintaining accountability and respect.
  • Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
  • Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels valued.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding hospitality and a guest-first mindset on every shift.
  • Build genuine connections with guests and ensure concerns are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, food quality, and overall restaurant appearance.
  • Help create memorable experiences that turn first-time guests into regulars.
  • Drive Operational Excellence
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and strong communication between all departments.
  • Support efficient execution by coordinating Front-of-House and Back-of-House teams.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Manage labor effectively and make real-time decisions that balance guest experience, team needs, and business goals.
  • Manage Inventory & Costs
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular counts and audits.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure products are available when needed.
  • Minimize waste, reduce loss, and support profitability through effective inventory controls.
  • Monitor department performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Promote Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to food and alcohol service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment for guests and team members.
  • Uphold sanitation standards and safety procedures at all times.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained and operating properly.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous management experience, preferably in a restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing people.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week.
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications, including:
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification and applicable state liquor license
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Reliable transportation.
