Licensed Clinician – Yemaya Wellness Center

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Serving clients in Massachusetts or Rhode Island)

Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Compensation: Independent contractor, competitive fee-split model, private pay + insurance referrals

Yemaya Wellness Center® is a boutique, culturally-rooted group practice dedicated to supporting high-achieving Black women and other women of color in unlearning survival mode, reclaiming joy, and healing deeply. Founded by Jasmine Dowery, LMHC, R-DMT, we specialize in trauma-informed, holistic therapy that integrates traditional psychotherapy with expressive arts, movement, and community care.

We are growing and seeking a licensed clinician to join our team as we expand our services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, trauma-informed psychotherapy to adults (individual and/or group).
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultation, and supervision as appropriate.
  • Option to contribute to group workshops, intensives, or creative program development.


Qualifications

  • Must hold an active independent license in Massachusetts or Rhode Island:
  • LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, PsyD, PhD (or equivalent independent licensure).
  • Experience working with BIPOC women and/or high-functioning adults preferred.
  • Training or interest in expressive arts, movement, or holistic modalities a plus.
  • Strong commitment to culturally responsive, anti-oppressive clinical practice.
